Al Riyadi Beirut Club was crowned as the Lebanese League champion for the 2022-2023 season after beating Dynamo Lebanon 4-1 in the finals. The Beiruti Club lost the first game of the series, but it came back to win four straight games, the last of which was 77-71 on the road at Dynamo’s Rockwell Arena.
This is Al Riyadi’s 17th championship since 1994 and the 31st in the history of the historic Beiruti club. Al Riyadi deserved to win and lift the trophy thanks to the great performance of its players, after the difficult season it went through, and the change of many of its foreign players. It also beat Sagesse in the capital derby 3-0 in the semi-finals of the championship
